Q1 AVIATION APPLIES FOR NADCAP ACCREDITATIONS

Q1 Aviation has begun the application process of acquiring the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP) approval. Having already acquired the Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and AS9100 approvals, Q1 Aviation has made the decision to pursue the complementary NADCAP accreditation.

Q1 Aviation is planning to include the NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods such as MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection), LPI (Liquid Penetrant Inspection), Ultrasonic, and Eddy Current Testing under the approved scope of NADCAP.

Carlos Santos, President of Q1 Aviation, stated “As the aerospace industry is evolving, having NADCAP accreditation is becoming more and more important to our customers, we also see a huge potential in supporting OEM’s and sub-contracted manufacturers”. Q1 Aviation is forecasting to be accredited in Q4 of 2018 and to step into the year of 2019 with an elevated reach of unique maintenance solutions.
